2. Log Data Processing

Logs uploaded to LogAnalyzer.eu may contain technical information generated by your systems. Before storage and processing, logs are automatically sanitized to remove common forms of personal data such as email addresses, IP addresses, tokens, API keys, and session identifiers.

Sanitization is performed using automated filters. However, you remain responsible for ensuring logs do not contain sensitive personal data before upload.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

We process data solely to:

  • Analyze logs and detect incidents
  • Generate incident reports and insights
  • Maintain account security and authentication
  • Provide activity history for your account
  • Improve service reliability and prevent abuse
  • Comply with legal, tax, and security obligations

4. Data Retention

Uploaded logs and incident data are retained only as long as necessary for analysis. You may delete logs at any time from your account dashboard.

Accounts scheduled for deletion are removed after a 30‑day grace period, unless the deletion request is cancelled.

Activity and audit logs are retained for security and compliance for a limited period. Audit logs are automatically deleted after 30 days unless a longer retention period is required for security investigations or legal obligations.

5. Your Rights

Users have the following rights regarding their personal data:

  • Access and download their stored data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of their account and associated data
  • Cancel account deletion during the 30‑day grace period

LogAnalyzer.eu uses locally managed PostgreSQL infrastructure for authentication and database storage.

Third‑party processors may be used for payment processing and AI‑powered analysis. These include:

  • Paddle — Merchant of Record for payments, invoicing, and tax compliance
  • AI analysis providers — used to generate automated incident insights

We use appropriate data-processing terms and safeguards with our service providers.

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, restricted database access, role‑based access controls, activity auditing, automated sanitization, and regular security reviews.

No system is perfectly secure, but we continuously improve our protections.
